- Guide Companies: Name, email, business info, tour descriptions, photos, and other listing content.
- Users: Optional name/email if signing up or submitting a review.

2. What We Don’t Do
- We do not sell personal data.
- We do not track individual visitors across the web.
- We do not serve personalized ads or retargeting.
3. How We Use Information
We use the contact information you provide to send you service-related communications. These include messages necessary to operate your account, such as notifications about your listings and periodic performance summaries (for example, views, clicks, or engagement statistics).
These communications are considered part of the GitBirds service and are not promotional.

4. Content Promotion
By submitting content to GitBirds, Guide Companies grant permission for their tour info, images, logos, trade names, and business name to be used in GitBirds promotions, including social media, email newsletters, search engine marketing, and future platforms. You may opt out anytime by emailing nate@gitbirds.com.
5. Account Management & Consent
By confirming participation in GitBirds (e.g., through email verification or other methods), Guide Companies consent to GitBirds creating, editing, and managing listings on their behalf. This may include adding, deleting, or modifying content, and publishing updates. Guide Companies retain ownership of their content and may revoke this authorization at any time by written notice to GitBirds, after which GitBirds will cease managing their account.
6. Cookies and Analytics
We use cookies and analytics software to analyze traffic and improve user experience. You can disable cookies in your browser settings.
7. Data Sharing
We only share info when necessary to operate the platform (e.g., cloud hosting, analytics). We do not share info with advertisers or unrelated third parties.

If a Guide Company revokes permission for GitBirds to use their content (including text, images, or brand assets), GitBirds will cease using such content within 30 days, unless retention is required by law.
